Hello, I'm Gauri Sarraf, the founder of Kind n Crafted.

My journey in design began at NIFT Shillong (2010–2014), where I studied Accessories Design and discovered my passion for creating products that are both beautiful and meaningful. I went on to work with brands like Woodland, Red Chief, export houses, buying houses, and freelance projects, building my career in leather accessories.

After my marriage in 2018, I moved to Varanasi. As I embraced motherhood and raised my two sons, my professional journey paused, but my passion for creating never faded

When I returned to design, I found inspiration in handmade artistry. I began with hand-painted wooden torans inspired by Lipan art, and soon expanded into handcrafted hair accessories, crochet creations, and thoughtfully designed pieces that celebrate Indian craftsmanship with a contemporary touch.
